If you aren’t a regular visitor to the GCPF, you may not have met or heard of Rex. Well, introductions are thus in order. Rex is the official park mascot, and a welcoming ambassador to the Park. He is sometimes seen patrolling the trails with his friend Pete, looking for fallen branches or trees, welcoming school children arriving for educational programs, or leading the monthly dog hikes through the Park – all responsibilities that he takes very seriously. So if you happen to meet Rex on one of your visits to the Park, stop and say hi and introduce yourself.
And now, to add to his fame, Rex has his own cartoon describing his work at the Park. Enjoy!
And special thanks to Calista for her expert graphic skills which made this feature possible.
