Introducing – Junior ACORNS

Every year thousands of school-age children attend various events and activities at the Genesee County Park and Forest. These might be school field trips or specific programs such as Camp Hard Hat. Or perhaps just a visit to the park with family and friends. Many of these youngsters have expressed to us a deeper interest and appreciation of the Park or in Nature in General.

As a response to this we have created a new program – Junior ACORNS.  Developed jointly between the ACORNS organization and Genesee County Park, this program aims to tap into that interest and nurture it.
